However, even with qualifications, skills, and experience comparable to men, women continued to face widespread discrimination for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A landmark moment came in 1928 with the passage of the \u201cRepresentation of the People Act,\u201d which granted voting rights to all women over the age of 21.
